Artskool is proud to participate in the 2021 Geelong Design Week celebration taking place 18 - 28 March. We are offering 2 workshops where you can let your creative juices run wild to create a small version of the illusttrated garden totems from pottery. In the first class (week 1) you will create and decorate your totem piece/pieces, and the second class (week 2) you will glaze your pieces ready to be fired in our kiln. On completion we will make arrangements for you to collect your creations. Date: Saturday 20th March 9:30am - 3:00pm and 27th March 10:00am - 2:00pmpm. Bring Lunch. Join local artist Sue Woolnough for a relaxed and fun-filled day creating art inspired by beautiful beaches and coastal views.
You will learn techniques for producing abstract seascapes and
Sue will pass on some handy hints for painting with acrylics. There will be plenty of experimenting with paints before you work, with Sue’s guidance, on your own original to take home.
Sue is a former art teacher and an experienced tutor, having presented many workshops on the Surfcoast and in Colac.
She creates a welcoming and encouraging environment where everyone is free to be creative.
